2003 Spring Showcase
Rowe is a senior outfielder that showed good all around baseball ability. He is nearly 6 feet tall with a good body and showed that he can hit. He produced a good looking swing throughout the showcase outdoors and indoors. He ran a 7.10 with a stumble and showed athletic actions about him. He outfield arm was clocked at 83 mph with good carry to the bag and his best tool was still his bat. He showed some wood bat pop with many firm line drives to every part of the field. He got his hands out early on the high fastball, and used a quick and level swing plane to drive the ball. His bat-speed was good with wood and he did not miss many that he swung at. And he saw some good pitching. It is a bat that will play in a College line-up next year.
