Roberts is a fast middle infielder who, at 5 foot 10 and 180 pounds can play the game at a high level. He is a very good runner and his quickness was well-utilized at both middle infield positions. His actions are pretty and he showed one play coming in on the ball that is seldom made in College baseball. His arm will play at second well and that is where he projects the best. At the plate, Roberts showed a smooth swing keeping his hands inside the ball and he produced some lift during batting practice. He gave us the impression he is an attacker at the plate and his swing was consistently smooth and under control. We like his ability and he competed every inning. He's a good player and a good student.
