Nicholas Ardito is a 2008 RHP/OF/C with a 5'8'', 160 lb. frame from Point Pleasant Beach, NJ who attends Point Pleasant Beach. He has an athletic build that is very young looking still. Nicholas throws from a 3/4 arm slot with an easy arm action. He throws strikes and makes hitters put the ball in play. His fastball has some arm side run at 72-78 mph. His slider is at 65-68 and is very late breaking. He likes to pitch inside and does so very well. Ardito gets good extension in his swing and makes consistent contact. He has some easy lift in his swing that shouls translate to power as he gets stronger. In the field, he has clean actions in the outfield and an accurate arm. Behind the plate, he has a very aggressive catching style and gets after the ball very well. Nicholas is also a very strong student.
