Renaud is a 6-1 sophomore outfielder from Iowa. He has a nice athletic frame that should be able to add weight and strength as he matures. Renaud hits from a balanced "pro style" stance with high hands. He gets very little backside into his swing right now and is predominantly an arm swinger. It shouldn’t be much of an adjustment with some basic hitting instruction. Defensively, Renaud has a long, easy arm stroke from the outfield and showed developing arm strength that should keep improving. He showed us a hustling style of play and a great attitude for the game. Renaud is an excellent student.
