Will Jeffery is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Bellaire, TX who attends Bellaire HS. Medium athletic build, room to get stronger. High leg raise delivery with good hip turn, lands closed and throws cross body on release, has some arm quickness and looseness. Fastball topped at 84 mph, mostly straight, lots of variance in fastball velocity, tries to work to spots. Slider was a solid second pitch in the mid-70's, good biting action with some depth and angle sweeping across the zone. Showed his athleticism in the outfield, young developing footwork but very good arm strength when everything in sync, strong on line throws with accuracy, 6.85 runner. Right handed hitter, situational approach including sacrifice bunting and choking up with two strikes, spray line drive contact. Has the potential to improve on the mound, the arm strength is there ready to be tapped. Good student.
