Caden Skinner is a 2014 C/MIF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Rapid City, SD who attends St Thomas More HS. Medium athletic build, looks taller than listed, good present strength. Right handed hitter, open stance and front side stays open, good strength at contact with some bat speed, short path to the ball, ball comes off the bat well, simple swing that produces consistent square contact. Athletic actions behind the plate, sound exchange and footwork, nice arm strength with on line accurate throws, has all the tools to catch at the next level. Also played infield and showed similar athletic potential.
