Tyler Payne is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-1 135 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Ridge Point HS. Tall very slender build, developing strength. Tall delivery, stays on line but opens lower half early, compact arm action, 3/4's slot with limited extension out front. Steady low 70's fastball, mostly straight but with some downhill plane, throws strikes with fastball, soft curveball with some rolling downer break. All about gaining more strength and arm speed and is young enough to do so.. Good student.
