Ryan Capel is a 2013 3B/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Seven Lakes HS. Loose athletic build, young look , very projectable. 6.84 runner, quick first step on defense, athletic movements, soft hands at the ball, very good arm strength with more to come, definite defensive tools for the next level. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance with high hands, somewhat rotational, gets separation and some lift in swing, creates bat speed, ball comes off barrel well, best contact to RCF, will improve offensively with more strength. Solid overall tools and projects to get better. Son of former ML pitcher Mike Capel. Excellent student.
