Benny Morales is a 2008 C/3B/2B with a 5'7'', 135 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends El Dorado. Morales has a slender athletic build with room to add to his frame. He moves well laterally behind the plate and has a quick transfer. He is a high energy player who goes 100% all of the time. At the plate he hits from a narrow base, and has a no stride lift and replace style hitter. He shows lift in his swing, but has a contact approach. He has gap level power potential, and has a smart approach at the plate. Morales is also a good student.
