Michael Dickman is a 2007 2B/SS/OF from Marist HS, residing in Eugene, OR, with a 5'8" 150 lb. frame. Has a small and average build. Offensively he starts from a square stance and has a lower half that worked well. Dickman is a spray hitter, a two-hole type. He has a pretty quick bat and a short swing. His timing is good and he was pretty aggressive while maintaining decent bat control. He should hit a bit in college. Defensively he showed some feel for the game. His release works at 2B and his hands are average. He made some plays on the run. Dickman is a good baseball player, a small college type and the type of player that helps a team win. Don't grade the tools, grade the baseball player.
