Jimmy Dowdell is a 2009 OF/2B with a 5'8'', 150 lb. frame from Palm Harbor, FL who attends Clearwater Central HS. Slender build, good frame to fill out. Has good bat speed, strong hands, solid LD contact, hits with low hands, stays short to ball, high average type. Good arm strength, profiles to 2B, has the speed/quickness. Also pitches, FB 80 mph, good mechanics. Excellent student.
