2005 Unsigned Seniors Showcase
Zachodzki is a 5-10, 165 lb outfielder from North Carolina. He ran the 60 in 7.30 on the slow track and threw 81 mph from the outfield during drills. Zachodzki had a quick release on throws and was very accurate, a good combination to throw out some base runners trying for an extra base. At the plate, Zachodzki has an aluminum bat approach with his hands way back, a limited trigger and a right centerfield approach. He has some good strength in his hands and wrists and was able to drive a few balls in batting practice and had three hits in the 2 showcase games. It looks like Zachodzki has a solid approach to the game and should maximize his physical potential. Zachodzki is also a very good student. He can play!
