Alex Linderwell is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Manchester, IA who attends West Delaware. Linderwell has a smaller frame with a thin lean build. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. He pushes the ball and he uses a full windup style delivery. He throws uphill and stays online well in his delivery. Linderwell gets some run on his fastball and pitches to contact well. He throws an 11/5 curveball and missed bats well in his outing. Defensively Linderwell has developing actions at 1B with developing defensive tools. At the plate, he has a lower hand set with a leg lift load to start his swing. He has developing hitting tools. Outstanding student.
