Jason Midkiff is a 2011 LHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Wanaque, NJ who attends Paramus Catholic HS. Midkiff has a lean athletic build, 3/4 arm slot, short compact arm action, hides ball well, arm side run on fastball, good feel for change up with same arm speed as fastball, slider has good spin and late action, lives in lower part of zone, hits from an open stance, toe tap to square, pull approach, mid field contact, squares up balls well, ball will jump off bat, makes consistent solid contact, defensively, medium arm action, some carry, he is also a good student.
