Joshua Borgman is a 2008 SS/3B with a 5'8'', 165 lb. frame from Meridian, Idaho, who attends Centennial High School. Borgman has a lean and athletic frame. Defensively he has soft hands in the middle of the diamond. He moves well showing smooth footwork that allows him to get in proper fielding position. He also has range with body control. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from an average base with a simple approach. Borgman is an aggressive hitter who has bat speed through the hitting zone. He has a line drive swing plane that allows him to make consistent contact. He keeps his hands inside the ball with the ability to hit to all fields. He is a contact hitter. Borgman is a hustle type player who runs well, and he is aggressive on the bases. He is a good student as well.
