Charles Martin is a 2015 C/2B with a 5-8 185 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Kingwood Park HS. Shorter compact build, good present strength, especially in the lower half. Low flexible set up behind the plate, compact arm action and overall actions defensively, accurate throws with some arm strength, 2.10 best drill pop time, 2.17 game, can continue to work on foot quickness and side to side shifting. Right handed hitter, spread stance with wrapped barrel start, upper half rotational swing, long fluid swing, some uppercut in his swing plane, mid to opposite field contact, can shorten up for more consistent square contact. Good student.
