Hayden Stoeber is a 2015 SS with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Woods HS. Strong, athletic frame, long limbs with quick twitch muscle and has some room to fill out with added strength. Very good runner, ran a 6.87 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows fluid, athletic actions to eh ball, moves well with light actions on feet, fields the ball out front with soft hands, strength and carry on throws across. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance and a high hand set. Hands start deep, upper body swing and does a nice job of getting the barrel through the zone. Creates contact to the middle and pull side parts of the field, strong feel for the barrel with ability to lift the ball to opposite field, one hand finish on follow through. Very good student.
