Thomas Jankins is a 2013 SS/RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from West Brookfield, MA who attends Quaboag Regional. Listed as primary SS but graded out higher as pitching prospect. Long, strong pitcher with good build with projection. Good athlete on mound. Low 3/4 slot with quick arm, Aggressive on mound with downhill plane and quickness in arm. Fastball sat mid 80s and had late life. Does a good job getting on top of ball. Tight breaking 12/6 hammer curveball, graded as one of the best off-speed pitches of event. Good feel, excellent two pitch combo. Dominated innings. Loose body on infield, raw tools with good hands and accurate arm. Flashed quickness in bat at plate. Excellent student.
