Adam Balliet is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Mission, BC who attends Hatzic Secondary. Balliet has a long and lean frame with room for additional size and strength gains, a very projectable pitcher's build. Throws from 3/4 arm slot on the mound, works quickly, good rhythm. Can increase velocity with more use of lower half. Good mix, has an idea on the mound and uses curveball effectively. Good feet around the bag at first base and provides a good target for his infielders. Open stance at the plate, loads back, shows bat speed, contact to all fields. Good student.
