Ryan Welsh is a 2007 MIF/OF from Central Bucks East HS residing in Jamison, Pennsylvania with a lean and athletic 5'10"/150 pound frame. At the plate Ryan hits from an open stance and can hit the ball to any part of the field. He starts open and doesn't close at the plate causing him to lose a lot of power. In the field Ryan profiles very well for a second or third baseman. He has nice actions to go along with solid range and good arm strength. Ryan is a player that should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
