Hamm is a 5-11, 165 lb senior catcher from Florida with a solid athletic build. He's a right handed hitter who showed very good ability with the bat. Hamm has strong hands for his size and has a quick bat and quick hands. He hits with a rock back load and squares up well through the ball with good timing and coordination to his swing. Hamm is a line drive hitter right now but projects some power in the future with the leverage that he already has in his swing. Defensively, Hamm threw 72 mph during catching drills with a best pop time of 2.07. He has good foot work behind the plate and is a willing receiver. Hamm's bat should make him even better as a catching prospect at the next level.
