Thomas White is a 2008 C/1B/OF with a 6'2'', 195 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral. White is an excellent defensive catcher. He receives and blocks very well to go with a strong arm(81 in the workout) and quick release(1.96). He has the tools to be a top defensive catcher at the college level. He showed good bat speed at the plate and made good barrel contact. He hit line drives to all fields with a good swing path. Thomas was named to the top prospect list and should be a player of high interest to all colleges. He is also a good student.
