Kyle Morrison is a 2005 catcher/outfielder from Mountain View, California, with a lean frame and build. Morrison has an athletically proportioned body that can hold more muscle in the future. He has good running strides when underway, and ran the bases well with good quickness and instincts. Morrison has sure hands behind the plate, and the ability to move well laterally, and give good pop times to second base(2.09). At the plate, he has raw strength, and likes to get the ball in the air. He projects to be a middle of the line up bat with aggressive swings. He's not willing to let a fastball over the plate go by. Morrison should get some serious college interest for next year, and have a strong offensive season this year.
