Curtis Hedgepath is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 5-11 240 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends Boyd HS. Hedgepath has a medium frame with some present strength. As a right handed pitcher he pitched from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action and a good downhill plane. Kept the ball down in the strike zone, curveball had 12-6 breaking action. He can improve as a pitcher by using his lower half in his delivery. As a first baseman he showed soft hands with good fielding actions, can improve by improving his arm strength. As a right handed hitter he hit from a square stance with a middle of the field approach and showed some pop in his swing to his pull side. Good Student.
