Chasen Ford is a 2013 RHP with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Lake Forest, CA who attends EL Toro HS. Nice projectable athletic frame, plenty of room to get stronger. Easy leg raise delivery with full arm circle, extended 3/4's release point, arm works well. Steady mid 80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, fastball runs well arm side, will come inside to right hand hitters, can also cut his his fastball away, tends to throw harder from the stretch. Nice change up with good arm speed, hard late sink, threw some very good change ups. Big sweeping curveball, spins well but could add more power. Mixes it up well and has a feel for pitching. Should add velocity and continue to improve. Excellent student.
