Michael Strait is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends South Forsyth HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. 7.07 runner, good outfield actions, has arm strength with accurate throws and good footwork. Right handed hitter, rotational hitter, swings hard and creates bat speed, short hand path to the ball, pull line drive contact with gap to gap power, ball comes off the barrel hard, strength plays in his swing. Gets out of the box well and shows his speed on the bases. Also pitched, 3/4's arm slot, balanced tall delivery, fastball topped at 81 mph, mostly straight but thrown to spots, sweeping curveball with 10/4 shape, developing change up, throws all his pitches for strikes and knows how to mix. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team for the showcase.
