2007 Holiday Open Showcase
William Whitty is a 2007 MIF that attends Lake Braddock HS and resides in Springfield, VA with a 6'0", 175 lb. frame. William has an athletic build and performed very well in the workout. At the plate William has a line-drive swing plane with good bat control. He makes consistent solid contact and has the ability to hit the ball to any part of the field. William has the offensive skills to make a good transition to the next level. In the outfield William has good range, but is somewhat stiff in the field. He needs to play on his toes a little bit more. William is a solid student that will attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
