Troy A Trevino is a 2015 C with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Edinburg, TX who attends Robert Vela HS. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and a strong, mature build. Ran a 7.35 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, shows a quick transfer, jumps from behind the plate, full arm action on throws down to second base, arm strength will continue to develop with incorporation of lower half into throws. Right-handed hitter, starts with a spread, slightly open lower half and a high back elbow. Short path to the ball, line drive swing plane with a contact oriented approach. Quick hands coming through with contact with consistent line drive contact to the middle of the field. Good student.
