Ricardo Torres Cruz is a 2013 OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from San Lorenzo, PR who attends PRBAHS. Long and lean athletic build. Loose over the top arm action in the outfield, arm really works well, sound outfield actions, 6.77 runner. Right handed hitter, smooth fluid swing with some length, good balance and gets out to his front side well, will step out at times, handles the barrel well, sound hitting mechanics but will need to gain strength to generate next level bat speed. Aggressive baserunner who used his speed well. Projectable build and loose arm indicate he might be interesting to see on the mound. Good student.
