Brett Ryan is a 2012 SS/RHP with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Westfield, NJ who attends Westfield. Lean, athletic player, versatile athlete. Strength in actions on infield, gets to balls to either side, throws are online with solid accuracy. Switch hitter, showed quickness in bat and ability to make contact. Will benefit from better balance at the plate. On the mound, big kick, hides ball well, very short arm action. 3/4 slot. Fastball for strikes up in the zone, short breaking spinning curveball that he showed ability to throw strikes with. Very good student.
