Goodin is a 6-0, 225 lb junior catcher from Georgia. He ran the 60 in 8.22 and threw 73 mph in catching drills with a best pop time of 2.12. He has very strong legs and strong hands that help him with a bat in his hands.At the plate, Goodin sets up with high hands and has a rotational swing with very good bat speed. He showed his power potential in batting practice and can probably hit them a long way with metal in his hands. He looks like the type of hitter who should aggressively jump on the meaty pitches in the middle of the plate and try to drive them out of the park. Goodin is a good student.
