2003 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Kramer is an "04" INF/RHP who projects nicely especially on the hill. At 6'1/165 he looks lean and athletic with lots of room to get stronger. He is a good defensive player, but a bit choppy in the infield. He looked very good at the plate with a nice well balanced approach and a good smooth swing with bat speed. He smoked some balls very hard. In fact, he plays very hard. On the mound he showed mid 80s velocity with a real good 72 mph sharp breaking ball. It is a 2 planer that would work in college right now. This kid has some ability and we really like his attitude. Ian is an outstanding student too.
