Frank Mormino is a 2006 first baseman from Howell, NJ with a medium build at 5-8, 170 lbs. Defensively, he has a solid glove with a strong accurate arm. He moves well around the bag and shows good range and footwork. He hits from a closed stance with a good hand load and short stride. He has quick hands and makes solid hard contact to all fields. He has decent bat speed with a slight uppercut swing plane. He has gap level power and he has the potential to hit for big power at the next level. He his a hard working kid that loves to play the game and he will be a solid prospect next year.
