Matthew Bergquist is a 2013 LHP/ with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Bristow, VA who attends Patriot. Long thin frame, room to fill. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot, big leg kick, some effort to delivery, spins off on finish, medium arm action. Issues with timing and rhythm threw off command, arm was frequently late early in his outing but made the adjustment and showed the ability to throw strikes consistently in 2nd inning of work. Maintained velocity well, arm side run on fastball.
