Jacob Rone is a 2010 RHP/SS with a 6'3'', 180 lb. frame from Darien, IL who attends Downers Grove South. Long solid athletic build, mid to low 3/4 arm slot, long loose arm action, good late life on fastball, ball comes out easy, tight 12-6 breaking curveball, developing split finger fastball that shows some late dive at the plate, could develop to a plus pitch, hits from a slightly closed stance, strong hands, makes hard contact, defensively, long release, good actions, solid pitching prospect, signed with Parkland Community College.
