Ivan Quackenbush is a 2018 C/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Springfield, MO who attends Kickapoo. Large frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 7.34 sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a balanced, even stance while receiving. Gains ground while working out of crouch with clean exchanges. Compact arm action at released creating some carry to the bag with accuracy. Topped at 71 miles per hour with a best workout pop time of 2.00. Switch hitter with an upright, open stance and large leg lift trigger from each side of the plate. Hands launch on a direct path to contact with varying plane from each side of the plate. Generated solid leverage at contact with present bat speed from the left side of the plate. When squared, baseball jumped off the barrel creating solid carry to the gaps. Excellent student.
