Steve Kinderman is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends St Francis HS. Tall, slender broad shouldered build, projects physically. Slow deliberate delivery, long extended arm action, stays tall and creates good downhill angle, simple repeatable mechanics. Mid 70's fastball, gets good consistent cutting action on his fastball, good action. Big slow sweeping curveball, will need to develop more power with it but it works well for him. Throws both pitches for strikes and has a good feel for pitching. Should continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. Right handed hitter, big hand drop load, swings up to the ball, pull and lift approach, flashed some power when the ball was squared. Good student.
