Nathan Chang is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Fremont, CA who attends St Francis HS. Chang has a smaller frame with a compact build. He pitches from an over the top arm slot with a long arm action. He stays online in his delivery and uses a high leg lift. Chang pitches with effort and can get more use from his backside in his delivery. He throws a 12/6 curveball with big shape to it. He also throws a straight change up. At the plate, Chang starts with an open stance and maintains balance through his swing. He looks to keep his hands inside the baseball and made consistent opposite field contact. He has developing hitting tools at the plate. Excellent student.
