Corey Baptist is a 2013 1B/OF with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Seminole, FL who attends St. Petersburg Catholic HS. Big strong athletic build, physically mature. 7.27 runner, very good arm strength for a first baseman, agile actions around the bag. Strong right handed swing, long and strong rotational approach, looking to lift the ball, tends to pull off his front side, ball jumps when squared, will need to shorten up at the next level.
