Zack Terrazas is a 2008 RHP with a 6'1'', 178 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends McNeil. Zack is a lean and athletic player, with present strength. He hits from an open stance and strides to closed. He uses a toe tap trigger to start his swing. He starts upright, and swings a little inside out at times. He makes more solid contact when he stays shorter and more compact. On the mound he throws from an over the top arm slot with effort and good loose arm speed. His fastball is straight at times but flashes arm side run. His hands break quickly, and he has a long arm on the backside. He throws his fastball effectively on both sides of the plate, and establishes it right away. His fastball topped at 87 mph. Zack is also a good student.
