Colton Riesen is a 2015 C/RHP, MIF, OF with a 6-2 145 lb. frame from Bishop, CA who attends Bishop. Extra large frame, long levers, lean build with room to fill out. Receives the ball out front from behind the plate, has arm speed and arm strength will continue to develop. Stays tall on throws down to second, smooth release. Right-handed pitcher who throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a long arm action in back. Uses his height to get some downhill plane and extension out front. Worked fastball at 72-75 mph and flashed an 11/5 curveball at 64 mph. At the plate, starts from a balanced stance, longer swing, shows loose wrists and shows a fast bat path. Shows bat speed and gets the barrel through the zone. Excellent student.
