Ronnie Savidge is a 2013 LHP/1B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Gibsonton, FL who attends East Bay. Tall athletic build, room to fill, good pitchers body. Pitches from 3/4 arm slot, doesn't finish pitches, can get more out of arm with more extension, 12-6 break on curveball with tight break, mixes well, keeps hitters off balance, deceptive changeup. Easy swing, good approach, good hit tool, deep load, showed well in BP, good balance and extension. Good fielding actions at 1B, soft hands, good defender. Chance to develop on mound, solid 2-way player.
