Malik Brown is a 2014 OF/LHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Fort Meade, FL who attends Fort Meade. Thin athletic build, room to fill, projectable. Quick hands at the plate, lacks extension, rotational swing, gap power, drives the ball to the middle of the diamond, narrow upright stance. Uses his speed well on the basepaths, gets down the line well, disruptive on the basepaths. Accurate throws from OF, short arm action. Armside run on his fastball, online delivery, short arm circle, pitches from 3/4 arm slot. Good student.
