Eric Vatch is a 2013 C/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Roselle, IL who attends Lake Park HS. Lean athletic build, room to fill out and add strength. Aggressive hitting approach, short simple swing, stays back on the ball, compact, hits through the ball, consistent hard line-drive contact. Strong arm behind the plate, good footwork, quick transfer and release, good quickness. High 3/4 arm slot on the mound, short easy arm action, downhill plane, big 12-6 curveball with good shape, has a feel for pitching. Outstanding student.
