Andy Alig is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Mesquite, TX who attends Bishop Lynch HS. Medium build, good present strength. Long extended arm action, good extension front and back, ball comes out of hand well, low effort release, bit cross body at release, mechanics work well. Shows arm strength, fastball to 86 mph, occasional running actions, tends to tip curveball on release, fair 11/5 spin and shape, didn't see change up, throws strikes. Showed good outfield arm strength as well, aggressive to the ball, 7.33 runner. Patient hitter, mostly opposite field contact. Outstanding student.
