Thomas Rogers is a 2013 LHP/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Fairfax Station, VA who attends Lake Braddock HS. Medium athletic build, some strength. Fast paced delivery, effort at release, pulls head off target, quick arm, 3/4's release point. Fastball topped at 89 mph, throws strikes with fastball and challenges hitters early in count with fastballs, works extremely quickly, some deception. Off speed still developing, tends to slow body/arm on change up, drops arm slot for sweeping curveball that flashes good spin and has good velocity, has idea how to mix and pitch. Verbal commitment to North Carolina.
