Abis is a 5-11, 155 lb senior second baseman from Florida. Abis has a slender body and ran a 7.50 during the workout. Defensively, Abis does a good job of fielding the ball out in front of his body and has good defensive actions. Abis threw 73 across the infield in workouts. At the plate, Abis is a right handed hitter who starts from a wide stance. Abis has a nice short swing path and is able to hit the inside pitch well. Abis showed good bat control and has a contact approach. Abis showed some bat speed at the plate as well. Abis is a good student.
