Sam Cobbs is a 2015 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Woodbury, MN who attends East Ridge High School. Cobbs has a medium build with room to add strength to his frame. Hits from a square stance, quiet hands to the ball. Shows good present power and has tools to develop more power in future. Has a line drive swing plane with good extension. Defensively, good accurate throws across diamond. Fields ball out front with good feet. Shows good fielding actions. Also pitched, low 3/4 arm slot. loose arm action, ball comes out clean and fastball has good arm side run.
