Jeremy Vargas is a 2014 RHP/3B with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Colonia, NJ who attends John F Kennedy. Smaller, lean frame, has some length and room to get much stronger. Ran a 8.14 60 yard dash. Throws right-handed, works from a methodical delivery, has a short arm circle and releases from a three-quarter arm slot. Needs to finish more out in front. Fastball tops out at 72 mph, and mixes a slow curveball at 57 mph. Controls his two pitches very well down in the zone. Attacks hitters, stays balanced, and repeats. Also swung the bat, works from upright setup, will be better with strength.
