Seth Rosenberg is a 2013 C/RHP, 1B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Wilmette, IL who attends Niles West. Strong lean athletic build. Good receiving skills behind the plate, online catch & throw mechanics, strong arm, can cut down on arm action to improve release time. High hand set at the plate, short load, long in back, has some bat speed. Pull approach, very solid contact, can overswing at times, has strength. Pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot, works downhill, quick arm, good arm action. Fastball has arm side run, hides the baseball well in delivery. 11-5 curveball works, sharp break. Works quickly, loads well at balance point. Solid two-way player. Excellent student.
